IHOP

We woke up on the later side today and wanted to eat something quickly, so we stopped by the Brentwood IHOP location which happens to be close to where I currently reside.  Expectations tempered, we were seated after a 5 minute wait, and got waters.  Normally FlowerBunny would order coffee, but our last visit to this place resulted in extremely bad coffee so this time she declined.  Upon receiving our order, someone tried to eat her pancakes before she could:

FlowerBunny ordered the Pick-A-Pancake combo:

Strawberry Banana Pancakes

Which comes with 2 eggs, 2 sausage
(you can get bacon instead), and hashbrowns

She thought it was cool that there was banana in the pancakes and thought it was tasty too.  There might've been too much strawberry sauce though.  I thought they were a bit sweet.  The hashbrowns were bland and soggy.  One of the eggs was undercooked (almost raw), and the sausage was average.

Wanting something with vegetables, I had:

Spinach and Mushroom Omelette - I had them
hold the hollandaise sauce, and add bacon to it

It came with 3 buttermilk pancakes

This was very filling, as all of their omelettes are.  I'm glad I added the bacon, as there seemed to be no seasoning in the omelette itself, so the bacon added some salt.  Overall the omelette was kind of bland.  The pancakes were very light, and the pecan butter syrup ended up being pretty good on them.

Overall Impressions: IHOP is ok if you're in a hurry or hungover, and their breakfasts are very filling.  However, go with low expectations, as the food is not that great.
