When driving down Westminister Hwy in Richmond, we drove past a Ceili's Irish Pub & Restaurant. I didn't know that Ceili's was opening up a new location here in Richmond! I found that there isn't a lot of pubs in Richmond and was excited to see that a Ceili's opened up here. I really like the food at Ceili's and was excited to give this location a try!
One Saturday, we decided to go here for lunch. When we arrived, the restaurant was relatively empty and there were only a few tables occupied. We were greeted and seated near one of the tables by the bar.
I already knew what I was going to order, the Beef Dip Sandwich with Yam Fries! I've been to Ceili's before and really enjoyed the sandwich. I Love Hotdogs took a bit before deciding on ordering the Black & Tan Burger with Fries and a Side Caesar Salad.
Thinly sliced Alberta beef, creamy harvarti, horseradish aioli, grainy Dijon au jus, crispy fried onions.
Unfortunately, the sandwich I had this day wasn't as good as the beef was a bit grisly. The flavours of the beef and au jus were good, but it's a pity that the meat was grisly. The yam fries were crispy and was served with a chipotle aioli.

This is definitely a big burger. It has everything on it! I Love Hotdogs thought the burger was decent, but was hard to taste all the components.
Salad was pretty average, but it was also soggy too.
Overall Impressions:
- Friendly service.
- Food was decent.
- We would definitely go back and try their beers and other food items.
- They have Wings Wednesdays!
